Firstly, apologies for the lack of updates during the off-season. The team have been extremely busy the past few months, so understandably the website has been put on the back-burner a little bit.

As you may or may not know, the Joblin Motorsport team is proud to announce that it has joined forces with Brett and Peter Hyslop from Bundy Racing, and will be expanding the team to three cars this year. The third car will be campaigned by the youngest of the three brothers, Adam. Bundy Racing have kindly provided a new Nissan V8 power plant, which as we speak, is sitting inside a brand new Keith Gill High-Tensile Chassis. The chassis itself was constructed in the Joblin Motorsport workshop by the team, with the guided assistance of Keith, and is identical (bar a few slight changes) to that of the 52p and 72p cars. Adam would personally like to thank everyone involved in building the new car, and feels very privileged to be able to start his rookie Superstock season with such a competitive package. The new 62p Superstock has been down in Palmerston North for the last few months where the Bundy Racing Team have been working profusely mounting the engine and all of its accessories. It is due to come back to Eltham at the end of the week for the finishing touches. Adam has work commitments in Argentina for the next few weeks, so the goal is to have the 62p Superstock debut in mid-November.

Not alot has been happening with the 2nz/52p and 72p Superstocks. As you can see by the photos, all the new steel work has been finished, and the cars now await their engines. The 2nz/52p Ford V8 has arrived back in the country and is due to be picked up this coming Saturday. Work has been progressing on the 72p Toyota V8, but no finishing dates have been confirmed as of yet.

The Joblin Motorsport team will also be travelling in style this season, with the purchase of 500hp Volvo Truck, which is currently being converted into a Racecar Transporter. The truck will hold two cars and numerous spares, with the third car to be towed behind on a separate trailer. As you can see from the photo, there is still a lot of work to be done.

Stay tuned for future updates as the team strap up for what will undoubtedly be their biggest season yet!!
